This Week’s Movie Update

This past weekend, only one movie blew every theater up and almost paid for the movies production in one week! That’s right… Avengers: Age of Ultron was #1, making a whopping $191,271,109! I suggest that if you haven’t seen it, you should! Now for the Top 10 list of movies from this past weekend (May1-3)!

There are four new movies opening this weekend, but most of these movies will be overlooked this weekend because most people will be going to see the last few showings of Cinderella (2015) before it is replaced with a new movie, and also they will be going to go see Avenger: Age of Ultron after its crazy premiere weekend. Here are the four new movies going to you in selected theaters, and hopefully you won’t overlook them!

1. Hot Pursuit

An uptight and by-the-book cop tries to protect the outgoing widow of a drug boss as they race through Texas pursued by crooked cops and a dangerous gunmen.

2. The D Train

The head of a high school reunion committee travels to Los Angeles to track down the most popular guy from his graduating class and convince him to go to the reunion, which would complete the reunion!

3. 5 Flights Up

A long-time married couple who’ve spent their lives together in the same New York apartment become overwhelmed by personal and real estate-related issues when they plan to move away. Can they stay together or fall apart?

4. Maggie

A teenage girl in the Midwest becomes infected by an outbreak of a disease that slowly turns the infected into cannibalistic zombies. During her transformation, her loving father stays by her side. Will he be able to do what is right?
