International Poetry

On the second day of international education week, students from various courses and organizations read/performed poetry from different cultures and countries.

A partial list includes poetry from Pakistan, Mexico, and Japan, among other countries. Some students from American Sign Language courses/organization were also present to perform their midterm projects, which were stories or poems in sign. These stories could be an ABC story (which uses signs and gestures that follow the sign alphabet), a number story (which uses the numbers 1-10 in the story), or a single handshake story (which continuously using one handshake for the entirety of the story).
